Michael Barnett - O.D.
Education:
Dr. Barnett attended the Louisiana State University, where he did his undergraduate work. He received his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate Degree of Optometry at the University of Houston, Texas in 1971.
Personal Information/hobbies/family:
Dr. Barnett joined the practice in 1973 after serving two years as a Captain in the United States Army. While stationed in Korea, he received the Army Commendation Medal for Distinguished Service as Chief Optometry Officer.

Joseph Andersen - O.D.
Education:
Dr. Joseph L. Andersen joined the practice in 1994 after graduating from the Southern California College of Optometry with honors. Dr. Andersen received his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy and subsequently served 5 years as a Biological and Chemical Warfare officer. During his tour, he received his MBA degree from Wright State University along with the Air Force Commendation and Distinguished Service medals.
Personal Information/hobbies/family:
Dr. Andersen is married to Maureen, an Electrical Engineer. They both enjoy spending time with their daughter Grace and their son Leif. Dr. Andersen is also active in his church, enjoys all sports and reading.

Toni - Office Manager
Education:
Toni has been with the practice since 2000 and is our office manager. She is currently studying to become a certified paraoptometric technician.
Personal Information/ Hobbies/ Family:
When she not at work, she loves spending time with her wonderful husband and beautiful daughter, Stella. She has lived in the Altanta area all her life.

Amber - Contact Lense Specialist/Technician
Education:
Amber has been in the optical business off and on since 1980. She learned through different companies, the wholesale side and the optometrist side.
Personal Information/Hobbies/Family:
Growing up her family, she traveled a lot through the military. One of the most interesting places she lived was Okinawa. In 1982, she had one child, Joseph. When he was five yrs old, she taught him to roller skate and now they enjoy going skating together.

Kim - Insurance Specialist
Education:
Kim received her Associates in Business from Georgia Perimeter College in the Fall of 2007. She is currently attending AIU to obtain her Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Management.
Personal Information/hobbies/family:
In her spare time Kim loves spending time with her wonderful daughter, Aubrey. Together they enjoy going to the park and the beach. Kim also enjoys working out and focusing on her studies. |

Kate - Paraoptometric Technician
Education:
Kate Attended some college courses in Tampa, FL, and will soon be back in school at Georgia Perimeter College to attain her Associate's Degree in Science for Healthcare.
Personal Information/hobbies/family:
Kate has lived in the Greater Atlanta area since December 2006. She moved here from her hometown in Tampa, FL. She has no children but the coolest cat ever, named Buddy. For fun she loves to paint, cook just about anything, camping/hiking, drink lots of coffee, and anything to do with art and the outdoors.
